In this 2-day workshop we’ll practice impressionistic style in watercolor as we paint people and figures in our landscapes and city scenes! Paint from provided photos or your own, as you add impressionistic LIGHT and LIFE to your work.  Plenty of demonstrations, group and one-on-one discussion will enhance the learning process.  Space is limited, supply list will be provided upon registration.  Please contact Alicia to register: by e-mail afarrisart@att.net

Mixed Up Floral Watercolor Class - August 23 - 10-3:00

Fun and a little unconventional. In this class we sill step out of the traditional watercolor routine and add mediums and techniques for a loose and interesting painting experience. Mark making, splashes, splatters, overlays and more.

I will set up a live floral still life for inspiration. You are welcome to bring your own reference photos as well.

Class Fee: $45 (includes $5 studio fee)

Supplies:

300 lb Hot pressed watercolor paper (I like Arches) - 9 x 12 or 11 x14 (I will have some available for purchase if you prefer)

A good variety and sizes of watercolor brushes,

Water basin, spray water bottle, soft drawing pencil, large metal or plastic palette to mix paints on, palette knife

A stencil or two of your choice. Or, we can share.

Watercolors of choice

Mediums and all other supplies will be provided.

Bring a sack lunch!
